An excellent book about 2 best friends, one is Jewish and the other is not, live their lives
through the war in 1943. Annemarie and her family help her best friend Ellen Rosen and her family from being captured from the Nazi's.
This book can teach history, culture, diversity, develops acceptance, awareness, and you learn about yourself. It also stimulates conversation and questions.
I can't say anything bad about the book but that I enjoyed every chapter of the book and there was not one boring point.

A Wrinkle in Time- Madeleine L'Engle
A book I highly recommend for young readers ages 12 and up. The book is about a girl named Meg and her intelligent5 year old brother Charles Wallace who travel back in time to find their missing father. Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who, and Mrs Which, friends of Charles, turn out to be transcendental beings who transport Meg, Charles, and Meg's friend Calvin through the galaxy. Mrs Whatsit and her friends guide them along the journey to battle The Black Thing who has captured their father. I enjoyed reading this book very much because it's exciting, interesting, and leaves a lot to the imagination. It also stimulates conversation and questions, touches emotions, and definitely a book all children can relate to.
